Be part of your child's adventure...
The Jr. Knights typically host not more than four (4) home games during a regular season. We ask that each players parents volunteer to fulfill at least two (2) volunteer opportunities. We advocate volunteering for games either before or after your sons or daughters game as we want parents to be fully vested in cheering your child on and enjoying the spirit and pageantry of the game. These opportunities include:
• Set-Up or Tear Down
• Concessions
• Grill Master
• Time / Score Keeper
• Chain-Gang
Some of these volunteer opportunities are integral to helping to defer some of the costs of providing many of this programs amenities and some are actually required to fulfill the functional requirements of the game. For example; failure by the hosting team to provide a time/score keeper or a chain-gang can and has resulted in the hosting teams forfeiture of the game.
The 2011 Season:
Before the start of the season, volunteer opportunities will be listed here on this website where you can register for them. It is the Jr. Knights desire to have a full compliment of volunteers before the game-day arrives. Please visit this section of the Jr. Knights sight once the season is posted and be a part of your childs adventure.
